The Lightkeeper reflects our desire to illuminate and inspire the unseen talent American writers have to showcase. While all compelling works are considered for publication, we the editors share a passion for well-written, distinctive work involving Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the Great Lakes region, and the north at large. Work like a lighthouse beam in the offshore darkness: vivid, luminous, striking, and –ultimately – enlightening.
"This does not mean that the enemy is to be allowed to escape. The object is to make him believe that there is a road to safety, and thus prevent his fighting with the courage of despair. After that, you may crush him."

As a former Windsorite now living in Toronto, this is great! I can visualize Riverside drive and the sky-line even now.

I,too, am a former Windsorite, although I now live in California. This does fill me with nostalgia!

Aline: If you haven’t heard, a new anthology about Windsor by Windsorites and former Windsorites is coming out in April. It’s called Whisky Sour City. One of my poems is featured there. You can order it at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/088753516X/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=088753516X&linkCode=as2&tag=marknenadov0f-20
